Hamlet wandered the streets. The dog catacher and his van no where in sight. Some people jumped at the sight of a wild rotwieler. Others just stepped aside. He wasn't going to stop so they better stay out of his way. He held no sympothy to humans. Keeping his way he turned into the alley. A few dogs were there. Some left with a scrap when he arrived, others just moved aside to let him by. One of the trash bins was still untouched. The metal lid on. He kicked it with his back leg. the contents pouring out. He stuck his head in. Securing a slice of ham and some potatoes the chefs had deemed bruised.

Kiara ran as quickly as she could, trying to catch up to Hamlet. She slowed down as she looked around. The area seemed to have a lot of people here. Kiara looked around to see if the dog catcher was around. It's been a while but she still didn't forget. The dog catcher and his van wasn't around. She let let out a sigh of relieh. She got a few peices of ham while looking for Hamlet. She finally found Hamlet, eating out a trash can. Kiara ran over to him. "Hey!"

Hamlet grabbed a piece of an omelet by the looks of it. he pulled his head. The food gone. He looked at the pup. It was in more danger than it thought. A lot of dogs would attack or kill a pup for food. It was becoming a more common sight sadly. He sighed. Man was going to more steps to get rid of street dogs. No dog really liked being on a leash he knew it. How could they? It for some, was all they knew though. That could explain it. He shook his head looking at the pup and went back to eating.

Hamlet pulled his head out, snarling. He stepped between the dogs and the pup. He barked a few times. "Back off you lot! If your gonna try and steal food do it to someone your own size!" Hamlet snarled again.

The dogs backed away. They folded their ears back They started whining. They were afraid of Hamlet. Kiara looked at Hamlet, smiling. "Thanks for that." She started eating her peice of ham.

"No problem." He tried to keep the dogs from tearing each other apart. It was his job. Food wasn't a problem for him, the dog catacher posed little threat as well. It was other dogs that worried him. He had been in many fights, winning all of them. It was how the fights started in general that had him worried. They were broken out because of lack of food for themselves for for space. After the dog catachers stepped up space was no problem it was food that remained. Less dogs more food. More people less food. Less garbage. This resturant was one of the few places where a meal was guarenteed. He placed his paw on a patatoe. It broke. He began to eat the vitamin enriched inerds.

Once Kiara finished her piece of ham, she got up carrying the other piece in her mouth. As she walked by the other dogs, she dropped her piece. She meant to do it. She stopped andlooked around for the dog catcher. He still wasn't here. She starting walking again and went of to explore the rest of the area.

Tina trotted gracefully with her owner to the side of her. She carried her head high. Her owner wore a pink dress and a red hat. She carried her head high too and held the leash with perfect elegance. Her name was Esmerelda and she often showed Tina in many shows. Her owner tied Tina to a pole just outside of the place because a resteraunt was no place for a dog. Tina sat down and let her sparkley leash full of dimonds and emeralds glitter in the sunlight. She spotted two dogs a bit of a distance away from her. She opened one eye and carefully examined them. She turned away from them with a humf and let them carry on whatever street dogs do.

Kiara spotted a tannish husky. She walked to the husky. "This dog is obiously a house pet." Kiara thought. "Hi." Kiara noticed the female was tied to a pole. "Why are tied up to a pole?" Wouldn't you feel a little better if you roamed around, even for just a bit?

Tina turned away from the young dog. I do not wish to roam free, nor do I even care, for street dogs like yourselves. A life of dirt and disgust is not ment for me, for I am Tina, a top bred husky. I suggest you go back from whence you came. She said all of this is a british like accent, and never even opened her eyes. Her mouth barely moved when she talked, only the slightest bit.

Hamlet smirked. Purebred house dogs always acted like this. Stuck ip and believing they were better than anyone else. Hamlet was purebred as far as he knew but he had grown up on the streets. Born and raised in this forlonged city. Hamlet looked at the dog and then and the ground. He stuck his head in the garbage again. Coming out with a piece of ham covered in patatoe shreds. He walked over tothe dog. Sitting just out of the dog's reach at the stretch of the leash. He flunged the piece of meat and hit the dog in the back.

Kiara sat down. " Oh. You've got it all wrong miss Tina. I'm not a street dog. I'm a house pet, like you. I can unstand if you don't want to be off your leash. I was just wondering because I thought you would feel a little better if you were off your leash. Kiara notice something on Tina's back. She looked at it. "Miss Tina. What's that you have on your back?" She didn't notice that Hamlet threw whatever was on Tina's at her.

Tina suddenly opened her eyes. Ewww! Gross! Get this peice of trash off me! Tina jumped up slighly and knocked the peice of "ham" off her back. Disgusting! Tina moved as far away from the dog as her leash let her, then she resumed the sitting position. Remember, dog Tina suddenly turned around with a look of disgust on her face and stared at the rotweiler. I can easily get my owner out here and you could go to the pound just like this! Tina ficked her fingers, and closed her eyes and held her head up high.

Hamlet smirked and shook his head mockingly. "I have evaded the dog catchers or just plain out smarted them my whole life. Never getting taken to the pound. Not even as a pup. You know why? It cause I got street smarts which is something you bloody house pets never had." He trotted back into the alley watching them.
